Project orientation days

So what are orientation days? These are days when there is intention, orientation, concentration towards a very clear goal, the organization towards the move to the new work area! These are actually the days when we will take advantage of the opportunity to examine the same reality as the day after which will enable functional operational and technological functionality tests on campus.

These orientation days are days in which we combine the predicted structure of life with the workers on the new campus, including creating intimacy both in knowing the campus and the ways to access it, and in the future space of the workers (the social event created in this situation and the possibility of uniting everyone for the transition and managing the change that we talked about in the chapter should not be underestimated the previous) .

As a general rule, it is important to take advantage of the days when the employees and managers visit the campus before occupancy in order to create a gradual load on all the systems and infrastructures, the integration between them and the way they will operate the day after, this opportunity will allow an initial learning of lessons between all the elements of the system.

Organizing for the orientation days requires detailed and rigorous planning that will serve one central goal and secondary goals along the way and requires a high level of involvement in both planning and execution of all the factors that actually operate the campus.

Examples of setting major goals and objectives during orientation days:

- Examining the process of the absorption of the employees to the campus and within the campus

- Getting to know the campus procedures during an emergency/security incident (fire, missiles, etc..)

- Execution of a functional model against critical assemblies (operation of a control center, control rooms, etc..)

After we have set goals for the orientation days, on the day of implementation it is necessary to plan continuous field observations with the relevant operational officials for the purpose of examining functional processes in the campus spaces from the stage of the employee's arrival by public transportation and/or the parking of the manager's private vehicle in the campus parking lot to passing and identification in front of the security system, the ways to get to the office Through stairs, elevators, access ways and access to employee catering and operating basic systems and infrastructure in the work environment.

In order for the orientation day to be effective, we will ensure strict time planning starting with the concentration of the employees and managers and briefing them on the goals and objectives for the day itself until the conclusion of the day when key lessons will be learned from both the employees and managers as well as the relevant operating factors.

After the implementation of the orientation day, whether it was intended or whether it was a life fabric, we will set out to extract lessons in an orderly fashion, form insights and make sure to update the new operational concepts and processes that were established as a result before the campus is occupied.

Let's not forget that the orientation days are also an opportunity to familiarize the thousands of employees with what has been done so far in the project and who were the people who worked for this goal, what will still be done (saves questions...), recognition and appreciation for the preparations and the depth of the planning and the high attention given by the admiring party Towards the settlement.

In conclusion: one must not confuse operational and technological simulations that are carried out as part of the engineering project with the orientation days, days that mainly serve the operating body and/or the end customer to better prepare the land for the arrival of the end user and to prepare ahead of time for observed faults and to standardize before occupancy the facility.
